COST BREAKDOWN
Charges involved with sanctioning NBHA for your show:
There is a $30 sanctioning fee to have a NBHA show. Sanctions are based on a single race where NBHA points are allotted. On occasion, Directors/show committees choose to run two races in one day that both count towards year- end points. This daily sanctioning fee goes to the NBHA association which is now located in Texas.
For this $30 they place your show up on the national website, make sure members points are sanction so that any member that shows at your show will gain points for world shows which include large Youth & Open/Senior competitions.
Your district director is in charge of coordinating the schedule for the District and will make out sanctioning forms and will collect the $30 per single race for your sanctioned show or shows(s) and will send in to the NBHA organization for you. This will make it easier on you to focus on your show.
$3 Indiana awards fee: is collected for each rider that enters a NBHA class even if they are not a member.
The $3 is added to the entry fee and is not included in the payback for the class. This money you will give/send to your district director not NBHA. ***Remember show committees this is not your money. It was not included in the payback; you paid nothing in—-the riders pay this awards fee extra for the classes they run. Show committees merely collecting it and give the $3 riders awards fee they collected to the sanctioned district director.
***Note: This awards fee stays in Indiana and is used to buy awards for our members. The breakdown is $2 goes to the district and $1 goes to the state which is used for year-end & State awards.
***Remember to submit your show results to your district director within seven (7) days after your show or you can give to your sanctioning district director at your show along with the show awards fee. They are responsible for dividing the district moneys up for each sanctioned/or fundraising district that participates in your show.

REQUIREMENTS
What classes need to be sanctioned?
1. Per NBHA national organization they recognize Open (all ages), Youth (12 years and under as of Jan 1st of the competition year, Teen (13-18 and under Of Jan 1st of the competition year) and Senior (50 years of age and over as of the date of the show)
2. In Indiana, per our membership we recognize Open (all ages of Jan 1st of the competition year) Youth (18 & under of Jan 1st of the competition year- we allow the youth and teen to run together to lessen the number of classes in your shows) and Senior ( 50 & over as of date of show). Classes are allowed to run together with other organzations as long as age limits are the same. If the age limits differ you may choose to run a multi-age class which runs as one class with multiple age group pay-outs. Ask a District Director about this option for your show.
3. Per national rules districts are not allowed to collect awards fee on classes they do not give awards for. In some of the larger district’s they also give awards for Lil Bullets (10 & under of Jan 1st of the competition year) and Prime (age 19 to 49 of Jan 1st of the competition year. Each district director will let their show committee know if they give awards to the lil bullet or prime classes since these classes are determined by the individual memberships ages in each district.
4. INDIANA 00 compete anywhere there is an Indiana sanctioned show. Their boundaries are anywhere a NBHA Indiana show is sanctioned, even if across state lines. The members are allowed 10 shows to obtain points toward their World Championship Shows. Please place their points tracker out at your show-it is the members responsibility to sign up to gather their points and this paper assists our IN-00 Director in keeping track of their points for their World Competitions.
The Indiana NBHA rely heavily on our district directors, and they are the best District Directors around. They are readily available to answer any and all questions you might have. Questions can also be answered by the State Director: call or text Jimmy Bryant: 812-350-9065 or Kimberly Rickly: 317-376-0976
